Group therapy sessions at Center Psychology Group foster healing within a supportive, confidential group setting. Our programs below are typically between 75-90 minutes long and held on the Zoom platform. A free phone consultation is required prior to enrollment in a group. Please check back here in 2025 for new groups starting up.
Group Therapy Sessions
A 12-week trauma-informed workshop that provides a safe and supportive space for individuals coping with trauma to explore mind-body approaches to healing. Through a combination of psychoeducation, experiential exercises, and skill-building, participants will deepen their understanding of trauma’s impact and learn effective techniques to regulate emotions, expand personal resilience, and navigate the challenges of recovery. With a focus on mind-body integration, the course will draw from DBT, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing, to offer participants tools to help process their trauma and regain a sense of stability. Facilitated by Dr. Dana Ludmer.

- Session 2: How Trauma Impacts the Brain and Nervous System
- Session 3: Psychoeducation on the Window of Tolerance
- Sessions 4-5: DBT for Emotional Regulation & Interpersonal Effectiveness
- Sessions 6-7: EMDR Techniques for Trauma Processing
- Sessions 8-9: Somatic Experiencing for Body Awareness and Release
- Sessions 10-12: Reflecting on Growth, Planning for the Future, and Closing Ceremony
